Ancient wonders, surprisingly accessible
Athens earned our first five-wheelchair rating. A dedicated elevator whisks wheelchair users to the top of the Acropolis while everyone else climbs. The Acropolis Museum is fully accessible and world-class. Modern Athens has great restaurants and beaches — though some neighborhoods have challenging cobblestone streets.
